morning coffee

[Ezrion Alexander]

Ezrion is relaxing in the cafe sipping at his coffee while reading the comic he brought with him. "This is really good coffee," He thinks to himself. "I haven't seen very many people 'round here though, uhh... this place is dull. Man I need something to do!" Looking around one more time and still seeing no one he decides to order something to eat. "Ya I'll have one of those and one of these, and ohh two of those," he says to the robot behind the counter. Then after paying for his pastrys returned to his spot by the door. Only after hooking his wireless earphones into his ears, turning on some good old fashion heavy metal and cranking the volume up to full blast did he return to his comic completely ignoring everything else, except of course his coffee and donuts. "This needs more sugar," he thinks as he takes another sip.

[Renzenku]

Ren emerged from the shadows in the far right corner, "Dude! Turn that down!" Waving in front of the males face, making cranking down motions with his hands, hoping he got the message. "Holy crap! That's LOUD! Freaking 120 Decibals practically, dude must be half deaf! Damn, high-tech has it's down sides."

[Ezrion Alexander]

"Hmm, sorry. I hadn't realised anyone else was here," he explained while turning it down. "Huh, when did you get here anyway?" he asks the other man. "I could have sworn no one was here when I walked in." He studied the other trying to determine if he was a threat to him. Deciding he wasn't he went back to his coffee.

[Renzenku]

"I've been in the cafe since I got on this 'island' if you can call it that, it's huge! Anyways, my name is Renzenku, you can name me Ren. Your the third one, that's for the tournament so far!" Ren politely responded, taking a seat across from the male, "What's your name?"

Ren sized up the male sitting across from him, and deemed him no threat at all, even if he decided to attack.

[Ezrion Alexander]

"Ezrion," he says without taking attention off his comic. "I hope others show up soon cause if not this could get rather dull," he states to the other. "Donut?" he offers.

[Renzenku]

"Thanks for the offer Ezrion, but I have my own." Smiling Ren whipped a donut out, apparently from nowhere and began munching on it. "Nom..Nom..Nom ^^"

[Ezrion Alexander]

"Oh ok. So why did you come here? Me i got forced to come here by...., well nevermind that my concerns aren't yours." Ezrion says. "It's good to know I'm not the only one here you know?"

[Renzenku]

"Ya, I know what you mean. I'm here for the tournament for the most part." Ren replied happily, "So, how's it going in your life?" Ren looked around, and noticing nothing, returned to looking at Ezrion, whipping another donut out of nowhere, and a soda.

[Ezrion Alexander]

"My life is complicated and uninteresting. Where do you keep getting those?" Ezrion inquires. "I mean really, they appear out of nowhere."

[Renzenku]

"Oh, you mean the food? Oh, just bought them when I first got here, I put them in a baggie and in mah pouch. Nothing special." Ren responded vaguely, "I doubt that if it's complicated it's uninteresting, personally my life is complex and extremely interesting. I'm not a modest man as you can see, however, it's not like many teenagers/young young adults are."

[Ezrion Alexander]

"I agree it's just I don't want to talk about my life with someone I just met, no offence. Besides I'm sure there's plenty of things to talk about." Ezrion said while casting around for a new topic.

[Renzenku]

"Oh ya, plently of things. Like the weather, this food, how much hustle and bustle our daily lives on this island have...Ya tons of topics." Ren replied sarcasticly. Once angain looking around, he found that there appeared to be another being in the room...

[Solomon Black]

The shadows of the corner that Ren emerged form began to swirve and sprout tendrils that swung wildly. The tendrils all began to converge into one spot and formed into the body of Solomon. He pointed at Ezrion and directed his question at Ren, " Who is he? "

[Renzenku]

" 'He' can speak for himself you know." Ren replied coldly.

[Solomon Black]

Solomon simply moved his gaze and finger point towards the other kid.

[Ezrion Alexander]

"Name's Ezrion," he tells the man "And your's is?" he asks.

[Solomon Black]

Solomon took a seat before answering him, " Black. Good to meet you, here of all places though. " He said beckoning around him.

[Ezrion Alexander]

"Nice to meet you too, I suppose," he replies. "I take it you two know each other?"

[Solomon Black]

Solomon glanced over at Ren, then back to Ezrion. " Barely. "

[Ezrion Alexander]

"I see," he says "Well I'm getting more coffee anyone want any? My treat."

[Renzenku]

"I'm good, I got some more left in my pouch." Ren replied moving his hand to his pouch and returning it with a extra-large cup of Hot Chocolate. He looked at Solomon and also replied to Ezrion's question, "Enough. Just enough to say I know him."

[Ezrion Alexander]

"Suite yourself," Ezrion walked over to the counter and ordered a large 5 cream 7 sugar. "Ah there we go nice'n sweet, just the way I like it," he turn back to the others only to stop dead in his tracks. For he wasn't seeing Ren and Solomon but an alternate universe.

The people, if they could be called people, writhed in agony while a black ooze like creature tortured them. The skyline was full of burning, crumbling buildings
that tinged the sky above, dark red. His only concern's were, My god, what's happening to them, What's happening to me? Where am I? While he pondered this he returned to himself and saw the somewhat familiar faces in front of him.

He could feel the sweat on his face but couldn't move couldn't do anything. Am I paralysed? I can't move.

[Renzenku]

Ren looked around himself with a look of wonder on his face, "You can't control that very well can you? Even I saw that. How 'bout you Solomon, you see it?" Looking around himself again, this time with a bemused look on his face, "That had to be a very powerful viewing for it to be projected onto other people's minds as well. If you could control that, it may allow you to travel through it... Though from the look of it, it wouldn't be the nicest place to be."

Ren watched the faces of his new companions and noticed an odd look on Ezrion's face, "What?"

[Solomon Black]

" I saw it. " Solomon placed his feet on the table in front of him, " And I said call me Black. "

[Renzenku]

"I don't care what you want me to call you, I'm gunna call you Solomon, or Solo Man. Most likely Solomon though." Ren retorted still smilling.
