Sitting around. Waiting

[Renzenku]

Renzenku sat at the cafe and drank a root beer, "This place is deserted...Almost...I've only seen a few other guys... I'm just waiting for something interesting to happen."

Ren sighed heavily, "This is almost boring, good thing the've got Mug though, my favourite root beer!" He looked around the cafe, it was totally empty of humans, or 'other' beings, just the Robot Tender at the desk.

Standing up he moved to a window seat and looked outside, watching as time past and he waited and waited for something.

[Solomon Black]

There was a small gust of wind as Solomon materialized in the cafe. He walked over to the counter and ordered a medium coffee, then asked Renzenku a question on his way to a seat. " Hey kid, have you seen a man about six five, blue hair, short cut? "

[Renzenku]

"No, I haven't. At the moment there is no one on the Island. Though I hope more will get here for the Tournament." Ren replied bored. He tugged on his belt loop, the one that had his reed pipes on them.

[Solomon Black]

" Dammit, Blairs tracking must be off... " He sat at the table beside Renzenku. " Wait? A tournament? What for? " He asked as he took a sip of his drink.

[Renzenku]

"It's a tournament to determine the strongest, obviously. When enough people get here then it will start. As it is all we can do is wait, socialize, and train." Ren responded, "By the way my name is Renzenku, Ren to you and everyone else, what's yours?"

[Solomon Black]

" Solomon Black, but please call me Black. " He replied staring at his coffee, " Hmmm, so a tournament means a prize... even though I have no choice in it, I guess i'll do it. James will probably love it too, and if i'm here I guess he will be here soon. " He said to himself.

[Renzenku]

"James?" Ren asked, before realising what he revealed, "Oh shit...Whoops...Yaaaa..." He looked around nervously before letting his gaze fall back onto Solomon.

[Solomon Black]

" James is my best freind, colleage and just as powerful as me. " He ignored Rens intrusion and took a huge drink of his coffee.

[Renzenku]

"Ahhhh.." Ren replied, smirking slightly, "And how powerful can you be?"

[Solomon Black]

Solomon showed a small grin, which rarely happens and took a sip of his coffee.

Suddenly all the shadows in the cafe began to come to life and grab around randomly for something to hold. A rain cloud appeared on the ceiling and it began to rain on everything but them. Though the rain never reached the ground because a fire covered the ground every where except for where they were. The lights began to spout lightning and the light being emmited from those lights began to waver.

Then it was done and gone, " I like to drink with a show, do you? " He said.

[Renzenku]

"What show? I blinked and I missed it, what a measly display of power." Ren smirked, waving his hand the room turned into the centre of a supernova, giving Solomon and himself a perfect showing of a star exploding. "That's a display of power, and it barely took a millionth of my power."

After the room returned to normal, it was filled with a inpenertrable darkness, which no light could pierce, and no one other then him could revert. Turning the room backed to normal Ren yawned, leaned back, and took a sip of his drink.

[Solomon Black]

Solomon took another drink, " Kids... Supernovas, Impenetrable darknesses, so uncreative. " He sat back in his seat when he finished his drink. " Then again I did not put much thought into mine either. "

[Renzenku]

"Not uncreative. You need to see more, there was digital code running through my displays of power." Ren coyly replied, "You obviously don't know how to notice everything at once."

"Regardless even if you understood all computing reason and languages you wouldn't have understood the Angel Computing Language, they've gone high tech and I know how to speak it." Ren looked at his watch, "In about three seconds you will witness the actual display of power...."

"3........2...........1......" Finshing his countdown the world itself suddenly transported to the highest reaches of space just outside their galaxy, giving Solomon and Ren a spectactular view of the Milky Way, swirly and sparkling beneath them, each orb representing it's own star, the beautiful colour correlessing each other.

"And we're back." Ren smiled happily, "I have a thing for space and the ethereal..."

[Solomon Black]

Solomon made a small nodding motion, " In 1600 years I have not seen anything like that, or cared, but it was cool. " He scratched the back of his hand. " The code I will appreciate next time I get a chance to see it though. "

[Renzenku]

"In nineteen I have seen it hundreds of times." Ren responded, "You don't get around much do you?"

[Solomon Black]

" Different realities boy, angels do not exist in my world. " He chuckled, " But you know that don't you. "

[Renzenku]

Ren winked, "Yes, I do. I also know several things about this 'island'. For one, it is set in a seperate reality then the one any of us know, it is more or less a miniature dimension, made to fit just this island. I also know that it draws in people with a certain amount of power. I also know that when you get here, you are not allowed to leave until you have competed in the tournament."

Ren smiled again, looking the picture of hope and kindness. "I also know that there is a specific type of hell attached to this dimension. I have had the pleasure of visiting it once before, it is not pleasent. Then again it differs from person to person."

[Solomon Black]

" Hell huh, I want to see that one day. " He placed out his hand palm up, and a saw blade materialized in it. The saw blade began to float two inches above his hand and spin slowly. Solomon moved his hand playing with the circular blade.

[Renzenku]

"Well, if you wanna see it you have to do something first, and that's die. Also, don't take it so lightly, it will lock all of your abilities and skills. You will lose everything, nothing left. Once you've dealt with your inner demons and your family torturing you for a bit, then you may proceed along the nine circles of hell. It is no joking matter, especially for someone like you. Because unlike me, you have inner demons." Ren told Solomon

[Solomon Black]

" Nothing I can't take care of. " He was sure of the inner demons but his sister... his sister. He mind blocked that thought, and spun the blade at high speeds creating a whizzing noise.

[Renzenku]

"Even your dead family. If it weren't for that, I could completely skip the first part." Ren smiled happily, summoning a little ball of light he made it whizz around the room making little screaming noises as he sent it hurling toward the ground and zipping back up again.

[Solomon Black]

" Meh, I don't care, family part will be easy too. " He transformed the saw into a small metallic wolf pup then started to pet it. " Anything hard. "

[Renzenku]

"You'll have to see for yourself, the rest of the trek is different from person to person, formed to be difficult regardless of the power level and capabilities. So I suppose there will be 'hard' things as well." Ren replied happily, sighing as he transformed his light ball into a miniature sword and had it fight against little light demon dogs.

[Solomon Black]

" I see. " The wolf begn to slowly age. It began to growl and howl and run around as it aged, it had a concience of its own but was loyal to only Black.

[Renzenku]

"Yep. As I said before, I'm just waiting for others to get here." Ren was watching the dog stalk along, for fun he sent his little sword after it, clipping it in the ear every now and then, giving it a mohawk over the various little swings of the sword.
