What a mercenary wants he gets? Yes or No? (Black)

Kaoru stepped into the endless grasp of the plant-less terrain. There were no plants at all nothing but dust and sand, Kaoru wondered why the Mercenary wants to see him here, possibility for a battle but still it could be just a normal chat on who becomes the leader of a faction as both of them were somewhat considered fugitives. On the other hand, Kaoru was speculating whether on attempting to go straight to the point or twist and turn the words to delay time. Ahh yes... The cruelty of time… And the ultimate question is, are angels supposed to love humans? If yes what of those who had fallen?

Solomon was off in the distance, but could see Kaoru. He was flying high just below the clouds on a large manifestium dragon. He had the dragon fly toward Kaoru as fast as it could, which was pretty fast.

The dragon without making a sound landed next to Kaoru and laid its head to the ground for Solomon to get off. When Solomon did get off he patted it on the head, “ Good job Bell, you can leave now. ” He waved a hand and the dragon went melted away to nothing.

Looking over at Kaoru he cracked his knuckles and neck, “ I think you know what I want to do? ”

"It's surprising.. I rarely get invitations though.. Especially for a man such as yourself..” Kaoru said calmly, considering the flattery he was making. The terrain was much of anyone’s advantage, partly because it was nothing but flatland and dust. “Yay.. More dust..” Kaoru said looking at the terrain before clapping his hand and his blade came within a beam of bright light. “So.. Any rules? Any parts such as melee combat first before range combat? I know that your interested on what I can do..” Kaoru added while unsheathing his blade while his lifeless eyes stared at Solomon.

I figured it wouildn't be misleading because it can't be plains without grass, if it was just dust and the like is would be a desert....))

Solomon sized up kaoru in less than a second. " I prefer to start slow. " His eyes glazed over as his body exploded with the concentrated energy of a nuclear explosion.

Solomon stood off in a far away above the clouds place in the plains, surrounded by a small but powerful barrier of energy.

[Kaoru]

"My my.. Sneaky.. But predictable.." Kaoru said as he walked across Solomon from his behind. "Since I don’t have many attacks at this moment, let’s try bombardment." Kaoru said before snapping his fingers and the ground began sending tall spikes that can send people flying in the air before a rain of lightning, waves of slashing winds before ending it with a heck of a "mother of all bombs" explosion.

Solomon did not even flinch as his barrier blocked everything thrown at him. Doing a heafty mocking laugh he snapped his finger and reapeated that but to Kaoru, but adding energy shackles around his wrists and ankles that kept him in place.

[Kaoru]

Kaoru didn't even flinch as well, it was a typical strategy, bind your opponent and then send barrages of attacks towards him or her. He created a barrier for himself but this time he absorbed the energy of both the attack and the binding and gathered it towards his blade before sending out shockwaves of energy using the blade without holding it. Kaoru on the other hand was thinking of what to do next, it was just as if it was a game of chess.

Solomon still did not move as his barrier blocked the attack yet again. He looked around as the clouds near him turned to flame and launched at Kaoru. Also a rune covered spear appeared in his left hand, and Excalibur in his right.

[Kaoru]

"Fire requires oxygen and then let's take away that oxygen.." Kaoru said as he extented an opened palm towards the sky and the whole area became a vacumn, hence extingushing the flames. As being an angel has it's advantages, breathing in a vacumn is not much trouble to him but to Solomon he's not sure. Kaoru then stomped on the ground and thousand's of blades flew out of the ground, surely these plains were once battlefields and the blades of the people are surely here and using those blade, Kaoru managed to summon and use Aroundight, The Unbreakable Light of the Lake to be added into his arsenal. Dropping Kyōka Suigetsu and unleashing its bankai, while wielding Aroundight in his right hand, Kaoru was now more or less on par with Solomon as Aroundight is on par on both power and origin of Excalibur. What will Solomon do next?

Solomon almost smiled, a vaccum. How pointless. Inside his barrier he could not be touched at the moment by anything Kaoru did. Though this new sword had the familiarity of Excalibur, and he had no idea why the man dropped his sword.

Shrinking his barrier to skin tight he teleported behind Kaoru. Slashing up his back with the lance creating a large gash in a lazy movement.

He also sliced the backs of his legs, arms and a slight cut on his head. Then, infront of Kaoru, stood there. Waiting.

Kaoru infact felt the sudden presence of Solomon but Kaoru quickly created a second skin force field to block the slash from the back which pushed Kaoru back a bit before a few other slashes came towards him which was partly blocked but still Kaoru received some slight cuts that quickly healed.

Kaoru then raised Aroundight into a downward-slash position. “Aroundight!” With that, Kaoru made a downward slash and suddenly a straight continuous-line wave of pure dark energy was made that raced towards Solomon. While that happened, Kaoru snapped his fingers and countless blades fell down on where Solomon was or at that time, giving the term “Raining Iron” a new name.

Solomon breathed out deeply. He took the spear and stabbed it into the ground, the took Excalibur and stabbed it into teh ground barely infront of him, Blocking the entier energy blast.

Though every sword hit Solomon dead on. His energy barrier took care of them and they never even touched him. Pulling Excalibur out of the ground he jumped back forty yards, slashing Excalibur and sending a wave of light toward Kaoru.

This was no ordinary light though, unblockable in almost every way. It would turn everything it touches into light. Impossible for Kaoru to know that though.

"Same Origin, Same Power but Complete Opposites.." Kaoru knew that as the Lady of the Lake told him much about Excalibur's power and also Aroundight of course. "If the light of Excalibur appears as it is, then the Aroundight that has been tainted by Lancelot, will surely be cleanse by Excalibur’s light and if you could do that, Aroundight’s true power will be released and it will be yours.. Still I have only one wish.. Remember me and you may keep the blade..” The Lady of The Lake said.

With that information, Damien pointed Aroundight straight towards the light while his body covered itself with pure dark energy to minimize any impact force that he will endure during the absorption of Excalibur’s light by Aroundight. As the light approached, a part of Aroundight’s sword opened. Once the blade hit the light beam its cleansing energy started to course within the blade dispelling the darkness that was trapped within the blade.

As the light from Excalibur stopped and Aroundight was now cleansed of the darkness and became a holy blade. “Thank you, I needed that.” Kaoru then made Aroundight into a tattoo and kept it within his skin. Another tattoo moved towards Kaoru’s right hand and it materialized into a blood red, cursed spear named only as Gáe Bolg, The Spear of Impaling Barbed Death. Kaoru then made a slight swift movement with the spear to position himself well with the spear in a defensive position. “Any other tricks?” Kaoru asked the mercenary.

Solomon was... suprised to see Aroundight. The Teacher, the one who had gotten Excalibur 500 years before, and the one who had given it to James, had never told him of this blades exsistance. Though adaptability must be used. Excalibur has lost its instant kill ablilty, as long as he wields that sword. This spear he remebered form the power battle, its apparent abilities he instantly remembered.

Excalibur disapeared in a flash of brilliant light, and Solomon flew forward. He grabbed his spear, ripping it from the ground. And then from behind Koaru, stabbed at his back.

Kaoru saw Excalibur disappear from his eyes. An indication that Solomon realised that Excalibur has lost its power. Indeed. Partly the battle was tipping but Kaoru knows that Solomon can restore balance in an instant. Now a spear came afloat to the battle and Solomon was charging at him at speeds unmeasurable by modern technology. At any rate, speed can be slowed down but still not entirely to the level where one second becomes ten seconds. Still Kaoru managed to slow it down a bit but it still was fast. Solomon appeared from behind but Kaoru just managed to not evade but the spear still slashed his a little in the right abdomen.

Kaoru ignored the pain the quickly restate his position. It was perfect; all the conditions were cleared once Solomon came towards him. Kaoru then began doing instantaneous pierces, all aiming for his heart, avoiding the physical armour that protected Solomon. Oh Kaoru wasn’t stupid for not thinking that Solomon won’t counter attack, so quickly he diverted his spear to random positions mainly the exposed neck and abdomens. This spear was different than the other spear Kaoru used against Ren.

Its effect is very special indeed. Wounds inflicted by Gáe Bolg do not heal while the spear remains in the world but this was not the main ability. The main ability of the spear is that the wielder can reverse the nature of causality. In effect, the cause is that "the heart is pierced" and the effect is that "the spear is thrust". Thus, the lance has already hit the heart before it is thrust, and the actual action is merely a formality that occurs due to the piercing of the enemy's heart. As a consequence, dodging or guarding is impossible; the lance will simply change course so that it pierces the victim's heart despite any interference. (BY now I know you guys will feel it’s totally G-mod but please continue to read) The only defense against this attack is a high degree of luck or a shield with sufficient(meaning a TON lot of energy) magical power to block the lance, or that’s what Kaoru tested by asking the last user to try to pierce him. Even if the lance "pierces" the heart, if the thrust is stopped at the shield, the world will correct the contradiction and the wound would be undone, which may save a potential victim by altering their fate so that their heart is not pierced.

Kaoru smiled in his heart, his opponent doesn't know the spear's ability but it will soon end. As even for Kaoru's level the spear proved deadly even to him, he only managed to block it but in effect he drained all of his power. Still this was only the ability, Kaoru blocked the ultimate technique for the spear. Let's hope the Solomon is ready.

Woah woah waoh: The only way to block the attack is a massive amount of magical energy... that the lance can go through anyways? o.o You should really put Gae Bolg in the weapon's approval section: since it's there so that whenever you use a special weapon: or add an effect to a previous weapon you have; you have to get it approved ^^

Solomon did not move a muscle, all teh energy around him condensed into the spot where the spear was to hit, effectivily blocking it. Grabbing the shaft of it, another Solomon climbed out of the first, then in a instant was behind him, and stabbed at his back with his runed spear.

Then he portaled away to a mile away in the clouds again, the first Solomon looked at Kaoru, " You underestimate my power. " He exploded with the power of an entier universe, condensed into a nuclear blast size so it would not destroy the island, Ragno wouldnt like that.

Kaoru wasn’t that surprised with the blocking of the spear thus quickly his back-up plan came into action, his spear was taken but Kaoru managed to block it with the same style of defense Solomon used. Then he grabbed the spear again before dispersing it into a tattoo again after touching it. Suddenly the other Solomon teleported away while another left behind. Surely this was a suicide act. What child’s play. As the blast came into effect, a layered barrier of blades covered him from head to toe, blocking the blast indefinitely but it did push him back some distance. "Heh.. Whose underestimating who now.." Kaoru replied Solomon. Ohh, this does not bode well. Now that Solomon made Yggdrasil angry.

“I grow tired of this..” Kaoru said as Kyōka Suigetsu appeared while his clone took Gae Blog, another took Gae Dearg, and another taking Arondight. “Since you want to play a cloning war, lets do it then..” Kaoru replied before taking a defensive position.

((wondering how you blocked a universes amount of energy with only a couple layers of blades. Or even a million.))

Solomon smiled he outstretched he arms and sprouting from him came 100 perfect biological copies of Solomon. Each one you could say was equal in power to one of kaoru's clones. Each one had a sword and shield made of manifestium. All of them the original, all of them clones. They all point a sowrd at them and fired of large beams of energy (the thickness of a truck.) at him. After the blast was complete, they would be bombarded by 100 blasts of fire that make the sun look like a pussy. They 100 lightning bolts, 100 condensed water beams, 100 light lasers that could cleave a town in half and lastly 1000000000000000000 manifestium spears.
